HCC MEMBERSHIP

Membership Covenant

Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior, been baptized by immersion after belief, and being in agreement with the statement of faith, vision, and values of Hollywood Community Church (HCC), I now feel led by God to unite with the HCC family as a member. In doing so, I commit myself to God and to the other members to do the following:

1. I will protect the unity of HCC

  • By acting in love toward other members
  • By refusing to gossip or grumble
  • By submitting to church leadership
  • By resolving conflict biblically in accordance with Matthew 18:15-17
"So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding" Romans 14:19

2. I will participate in the mission of HCC

  • By praying for my church and my pastors
  • By sharing the gospel and inviting people to church
  • By passionately welcoming guests who visit our church family
"Therefore, welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you." Romans 15:7

3. I will serve the body of believers that make up HCC

  • By stewarding my gifts and talents to encourage and edify the church
  • By being equipped to serve 
  • By cultivating a servant’s heart
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another." 1 Peter 4:10

4. I will support HCC

  • By attending consistently 
  • By giving generously to the Lord through the ministry of HCC
  • By participating in ministry
  • By living a Christ-honoring life
"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25
